Hi! My name is Kyla Wheeler, I'm 21 years old and I'm a UCLA graduate with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Gender Studies.  I was born on September 21st, 1999 (just like the Earth, Wind, and Fire song "September" because I am elite) in Baldwin Park, California.  I am aspiring to become a marriage and family therapist and clinical psychologist.

I created this blog because I have a voice and I am passionate to use it.  This blog is not meant to focus on a single issue, but rather meant to capture the versatility of my character as I have many passions. Some things may be fun and lighthearted, while other things may be more serious.  It's important to have a balance of both, and that's what I'd like this blog to embrace.

I am passionate about Black issues and issues related to social justice period, and this will be reflected in my blog.  I also love cooking, watching and reviewing movies, drawing, painting, and anything that allows me to channel my creativity.
